little eyes are open but sinking back inside the skull.

when i drive home from work at the end of the day i am driving away from the sunset. it looks like i am entering a city at night. the city behind me is not at night. imagine your eyes opening but sinking back into your head - behind eye lids; an eclipse of the world through your body. this is what driving away from the sunset is like.

39 Steps

one of my favorite moments from film/ literature/ life

"We were somewhere around Barstow on the edge of the desert when the drugs began to take hold. I remember saying something like 'I feel a bit lightheaded; maybe you should drive...' And suddenly there was a terrible roar all around us and the sky was full of what looked like huge bats, all swooping and screeching and diving around the car, which was going about a hundred miles an hour with the top down to Las Vegas. And a voice was screaming: 'Holy Jesus! What are these goddamn animals?'"

kill me

my head fucking kills right now. i get terrible head aches like every day. in fact, right now my head hurts so bad that my left elbow and forearm feel numb. i feel stuck in the museum right now. i want to lay around and take a nap.

i was thinking of time of the wolf and all the night scenes with burning bonfires. i like the solemn and lonely mood that atmosphere evokes. does anyone know of a movie with similar moods and visuals but with a little more fear of possible attacks from an "other" sort of threat?

REALLY?

i want to raise anemones

i wants to raise em and grow em and be em. if i were a planet i would be this one:

any other takers?

how about planet peter?

I would like to meet someone who was a sea anemone in a past life...even better would be to meet a sea anemone...or to give birth to one.

ALSO. I think it might be fun to be reincarnated as a planet...but not one quite as volitale as jupiter. that being said, I wouldn't want to be as drab as pluto? would I?

if it were possible, what planet, do you think...?

everyman

boris karloff kicks bela lugosi's ass. he is far more universal.
ha, universal...monsters.. to me frankenstein is an constructed man, just like everyman.

I hear futureland from disney world when it was first made.

"Buy Nothing Christmas is not really about refusing to spend a dime over the holiday season. It’s about taking a deep breath and deciding to opt out of the hype‚ the overcrowded malls‚ and the stressful to–do lists. It’s about reminding ourselves to really think about what we are buying, why we are buying it, and whether we really need it at all."

EMI Labels Sue MP3tunes for Copyright Infringement; Have Still Not Mastered That Whole "Changing Business Model" Thing

1. Record companies sue online music industry executive Michael Robertson circa 2000.

2. Said executive pays $100 million to record companies in settlement.

3. Vivendi’s Universal Music Group buys Robertson’s MP3.com, which is later sold to CNET Networks Inc.

4. EMI sends take-down notice to Robertson’s related company, Sideload.com, in September.

5. Robertson sues EMI in response to said notice.

6. See headline.

7. Michael Robertson sez; "These guys rush off to court and tell the court that I am terrible and then they end up buying my company. It is really a shame because instead of using these technologies to improve their business they make an enemy of every technology company out there."

8. TMT sez: WE ARE TIRED OF WRITING THE SAME NEWS STORY. SOMEONE PLEASE PROVIDE BIG RECORD LABELS (especially EMI, who have been hemorrhaging for quite some time now) WITH WHAT ONE WOULD REFER TO AS A "CLUE."

Digital Disappearance.

Change from invisible to visible. materialize.

things which exist do not exist anymore.

the fields of the red planet. the green gaseous whispers. on a black outerspace.
grow up. through time. distant shots; long pans.

a black outerspace over and from the red planet view.

things which exist do not exist.

a book with something to ponder.

my home at the jos.

this is my current home.

i smell like stale cigarettes and leather right now.
this is what i've been writing and drawing at work today.

MUTilated stable posiTIONS

At transitions, brief, unstable composites of the two images may be seen; these are often organized.
clear, high-contrast images disappear and reappear at random. It interests people who see it as a key to the ancient problem of singleness of vision: why, when we have two eyes each of which can support perception by itself, we don't see two of everything. Photographs of craters, from either the moon or other planets including our own, can exhibit this phenomenon.

I have grievances

i've been making some ads for this guys brand new fitness center.
i may be bragging because they look tasty like crack.
however, this guy thinks his logo is too visible and is afraid that it is too noticeable since it is one of the first thing his eyes are drawn to.
he wants me to make his logo transparent.

LEMON

lomen lament lemon
i have not gotten a chance to draw, walk around, or write for a very long time.

i am saddened by this.

brought after PoPular dymand

many great hodads and grimmies have fasted until they sink their minds into this-

JACQUELINE TAIEB the french mademoiselle

great listening activities for this album:

1. make a tape of it, rock it on your boom box and try to sing along as you walk through your neighborhood to get some falafel and kabobs.

2. take a bath at night with incense burning, play the tape you just made in the boom box. video tape the incense from your perspective in the bathtub. it helps when there is only one light somewhat directly behind the incense.

3. smoke a french cigarette in said bath tub, then watch the video you just made while listening to the lo fi audio reproduced in the video and remember what fun it was completing all of these activities.

if anyone can find the album jacqueline taieb is back, i'd love for you to tell me. xii xoxox iv xv
