Principia Discordia - the act of seeing order which does not really exist.

Apophenia - the experience of seeing patterns or connections in random or meaningless data. "unmotivated seeing of connections accompanied by a specific experience of an abnormal meaningfulness."

Pareidolia - a psychological phenomenon involving a vague and random stimulus (often an image or sound) being perceived as significant.

Meme - an information pattern, held in an individual's memory, which is capable of being copied to another individual's memory.
